Evaluation 02

Adult & Adolescent ADHD Evaluation

A differential evaluation, not a symptom checklist.

The question is never only whether ADHD is present, but what else could account for what you are experiencing — anxiety, depression, disrupted sleep, a learning difference, or a genuinely unsustainable set of demands. Each is examined, and each calls for something different.

Frequently asked

Questions people ask first

I did well in school. Can I still have ADHD?

Frequently, yes. Strong verbal ability, structure at home, and sheer effort can carry someone for years. The demands usually outgrow the compensation somewhere around graduate school, promotion, or parenthood.

Will this document support accommodations?

Yes. The report is written to the documentation standards used by universities, licensing boards, and employers.

Do you prescribe medication?

No. As a psychologist, the role here is diagnosis and planning. The report gives your prescribing physician the detail they need to decide.

Can adolescents be seen?

Yes, adolescents are evaluated when the question is academic performance, executive function, or attention.
