Privacy
Privacy policy
This policy explains what this website collects and how that information is handled. It applies to drbrittney.com and to purchases of digital workbooks. It does not replace the Notice of Privacy Practices that governs clinical records.
Information collected
The site collects only what you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number, and the message you send through the contact form or the newsletter form. If you purchase a digital workbook, your email address and order record are stored so your library remains available to you.
Standard technical information — browser type, device, referring page — may be logged by the hosting provider for security and performance.
How information is used
Contact submissions are used to respond to your inquiry. Purchase records are used to deliver your files and to restore access if you lose them. Newsletter addresses are used only to send occasional writing about applied neuroscience; every message includes a way to unsubscribe.
Information is never sold, rented, or traded.
Payment information
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Card numbers are never transmitted to or stored on this website.
Clinical information
The contact form is not a secure clinical channel. Please do not send detailed health information through it. Protected health information created during evaluation or therapy is governed by HIPAA and by the Notice of Privacy Practices, and is maintained in a separate secure record system.
Retention and security
Website inquiries are retained only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of correspondence. Clinical records are retained according to New York and Alabama state law. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect all information, though no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may request that your contact information be removed, unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, or ask what information is held about you. Requests about clinical records follow the process described in the Notice of Privacy Practices.
